Words that I still make mistakes on
are lay, lie, laid and lain. When I think I have it right it’s wrong and it is
something I should know by now. Same with fewer and less because it makes me
second guess my answer. The book says that less is for measurements but in sentences
it sounds right to put fewer. While I was taking the test the other day I
second guess my answers and wondered if they were correct. Even though I studied
and had my notes written out in my book, I had to stop and think about what the
question was asking me.
A mistake I found was in an article
from People magazine about the Las Vegas shooting. They included a post from M.
Escovedo on his twitter account about Jason Aldean visiting a patient in the
hospital. Escovedo forgot to put a comma in-between San Marcos, CA. It is a simple
mistake and sometimes we are rushing to type especially on social media that we
forget to spell check it.

Haha that picture is the best and actually really helpful. Sometimes I feel like my dog is thinking that. I'm going to try saying the right grammar next time and maybe my dog will listen.
