Hey, class!

While doing the homework assignment, one of the websites I found to be helpful was "Netflix." They have a fantastic design when it comes to consistency. The logo of the wording "Netflix" is red, and the background is black. What makes it so consistent though is the movie thumbnails in the background. Instead of just random movies that appear on "Netflix," there are special movies that have colors that go with the theme. You will find a lot of red movie thumbnails that are behind the wording, as well as black. This creates a very smooth and easy to read feeling. It was one of my favorite websites that I've seen so far while researching.

An editing mistake that I found this week was an article from AP News. It was talking about Net Neutrality and who plans to buy it. It said that, "...Time Warner would let it package and deliver video more cheaply..." I do not think that the wording "more cheaply" makes sense. I could be wrong, but I am wondering you think as a class. It just sounds funny when you say it.

  1. When I was thinking about consistency within a website I also thought about Netflix! They are a great example of consistency and repetition.
